Nuking Past LJ Entries (not crossposted)

Does anyone know a way to easily just obliterate past lj entries? Do you know if when someone does such a thing by whatever method, whether LJ will still keep a record of when the first entry was?

Just wondering.

I don't know (but will be curious to hear if anyone else does)--but does this mean you are moving over here? (I ask so I know whether or not to defriend you on LJ)

I'm not entirely moving over here. I can't, because some things are not over here. I just want to nuke anything I said before this year :). I've wanted to do this for a while, but posting some more over here is a good opportunity to do so. I hate diaries, because I hate keeping a record of my previous ignorance for posterity. Heh.

Do you do locked posts at lj? If so, I'd like to continue reading them, because I like reading the conversations in both places. It's entirely up to you, of course, in the end.

I do locked posts at LJ, but they're the same ones that are over here, & really, I get very very few comments at LJ anymore: either everyone who'd want to comment is here anyway, or I've irritated the ones on LJ enough w/this DW stuff that they don't bother (even though I have comments open there). I don't think you'd be missing much.
